Chairman SUBEB charges communities to enroll their wards in Schools

The Chairman State Universal Basic Education Board Alhaji Adamu Mohammed Duguri has urged communities to enroll their wards in School as part of their responsibilities.
Alhaji Adamu was speaking at a one day high level engagement on the implementation of teaching at the right level.
Mohammed Duguri decried lapses from teachers where some are not qualified to teach at any level of educational progress.
The SUBEB chairman empathized teaching at the right level, a project which is a Unicef assisted project to expand their scope for their purpose to be achieved.
In her remarks the Unicef chief of field office Bauchi Mrs Nuzat Rafiq said Teaching at the right level project is one of the proven education strategies in the world.
Mrs Nuzat Rafiq pointed out that everybody in a community is responsible for ensuring every child goes to school stressing that TaRL is strengthening states by involving all stakeholders.
In their presentation Dr Goni Shetima TaRL master trainer and Malam Abdulrahman Ibrahim Ado Unicef Education specialist said the project started in the state where it was piloted in Alkaleri local government.
They said the project started in the state with one hundred and ninety schools, ten thousand eight hundred and sixty five pupils, two hundred and ninety government teachers.
Also commenting the UBEC zonal director who was represented by Abdulsalam Abubakar a director at the commission assured that UBEC will always partner with all stakeholders to promote education in the state.
The Public Relations officer of SUBEB Isah Muhammad Jungudo said
goodwill messages from chairman house committee on education Nasiru Ahmed Ala, Director schools services SUBEB Zuhairu Usman and director Quality assurance SUBEB Abbas Abdulmumini suggested that adequate measure should be put in place while recruiting teachers in the forthcoming state government teachers employment.
In his vote of thanks emir of Bauchi Dr Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu who was represented by Danejin Bauchi Alhaji lawal Babamaji assured of full support and cooperation of the traditional leaders in boosting Education sector in the state.
