Police Raid Criminal Hideout in Uyo, Nab Suspect with Drugs

  Operatives of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command stormed a criminal hideout in Ikot Oku Ikono, Uyo, in the early hours of Sunday, September 21, 2025, arresting one suspect and seizing illicit substances. The raid, carried out around 1:00 a.m. following actionable intelligence, led to the arrest of Kabiru Isa , a resident of Udi Street, Uyo. Other suspects reportedly fled the scene. A search of the hideout uncovered five bundles of suspected cannabis and capsules suspected to be Tramadol , which have since been handed over to relevant authorities.
