U S Distances Itself from Israel-Iran Conflict — “We’re Not Joining the War,” Washington Declares

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a firm and calculated statement aimed at cooling global tensions, the United States has declared it is not considering entering Israel’s war against Iran, despite mounting regional pressure and intensifying military exchanges between the two rivals.

White House officials, speaking on Sunday, emphasized that while the U.S. remains committed to Israel’s security, it will not be drawn into a direct military confrontation with Iran — a move seen as a strategic pivot to prevent full-blown escalation in the already volatile Middle East.

“Our focus is on de-escalation, not expansion,” a senior U.S. defense official said. “We support Israel’s right to self-defense, but this is not our war.”

The statement follows two nights of heavy Iranian bombardments targeting Israeli positions and escalating fears of a broader regional conflict that could spiral out of control. Observers note that the U.S. stance may influence other Western allies to tread cautiously.

As oil prices fluctuate and diplomatic channels heat up, Washington’s message is clear: the U.S. will not march into Tehran’s battlefield — not now.
