 In a dramatic revelation that could shake global nuclear diplomacy, Iran’s security agencies claim they have obtained classified Israeli documents confirming that the names of its nuclear scientists were leaked to Israel through the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a UN body meant to safeguard against nuclear proliferation.

The shocking discovery, made public on Wednesday, alleges that sensitive information shared by Iran during mandatory inspections was discreetly passed to Israeli intelligence—an act Tehran says directly enabled the targeted assassinations of several of its top nuclear experts over the past decade.

“This is no longer a suspicion—it’s a fact,” said a senior Iranian official familiar with the investigation. “We now have documentary evidence that the very institution tasked with ensuring peace was a silent accomplice to murder.”

Though the IAEA has yet to respond officially, the allegations could strain its credibility and spark calls for an independent investigation. For years, Israel has neither confirmed nor denied its role in the high-profile killings, often carried out in surgical strikes that bore the hallmarks of elite spy craft.

Iran's Foreign Ministry has summoned UN representatives in Tehran and is calling for an emergency session of the UN General Assembly, while also threatening legal action against both Israel and the IAEA.

If verified, the revelations could mark one of the most explosive intelligence leaks in the history of nuclear oversight—casting a long shadow over international cooperation and the sanctity of diplomatic confidentiality.
