All Eyes on FCT: Wike to Supervise Crucial LG Polls as Parties Battle for Dominance

By: Abdullahi Inuwa

Abuja is gearing up for a political showdown as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) prepares to hold its much-anticipated local government elections.

In a bold move, Minister of the FCT, Wike, will personally supervise the entire process — setting the stage for what many are calling a litmus test for party strength at the grassroots.

With stakes high and tensions simmering, political parties are going head-to-head in a fierce contest for all six Area Council seats. Will the ruling party sweep the board? Or will the opposition pull a surprise upset?

The streets are buzzing, the banners are flying, and the voters are watching. As the countdown begins, one question remains: Who will take it all?

Stay tuned. FCT is about to decide.
