Six Suspects Arrested in Connection with Armed Robbery Incident in Mpape, Abuja

 

 Six individuals have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on the morning of April 6, 2025, at F.J.K Hotel, located behind First Bank in Mpape, Abuja.


Aliyu Mani, an escort driver to the Zamfara State Governor, reported the robbery to Mpape Division at approximately 5:30 a.m. He told police that while on his way to a nearby mosque, he was accosted by four armed robbers who stole his Tecno Cannon 30 Pro phone, valued at ₦370,000, along with ₦43,000 in cash.


Police sources said that Upon receiving the report, police operatives launched an immediate investigation, which led to the arrest of six suspects. The police are currently working to gather further evidence and identify additional individuals involved in the crime.


The sources said that Mpape Division is continuing the investigation, and authorities are working to ensure that all perpetrators are brought to justice.
