FRSC : collaborates with Zamfara Govt to train public drivers

Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC) Zamfara Sector Command in collaboration with Zamfara State Government set to train public drivers from Federal, State and Local Governments.


The Sector Commander, Aliyu Ma'aji  told the Newsmen that necessary arrangement were put in place to commence the training of government drivers in the state.


Governor Lawal had given  full assurance and commitment to provide all its required for the capacity building.


As leading agency in the traffic control and management, the aimed was to acquire modern knowledge and skills that would assured safety on our roads.


He said the public drivers had a traffic laws background, but training and retaining can improve their capacity to meet the world standard of roads safety management and control.


He commended Governor Lawal for providing best road network in the state and the allocation of two patrol vehicles to the Sector Command to enhance it's activities.


He requested the state government to provide  traffic signs for effective guidance and safety.


Traffic signs were very critical element that guide motorists and other roads users in effective  control of traffic and safety.


He then called for collective action by citizens to support traffic management and safety on the roads.
